Jensen knew his way around women. He didn’t express his urge to join Mikayla right away. Instead, he said, “Can you send me the address? I can compare it with the other gyms as well.”

Mikayla smiled. “Sure.” She sent him the dojo’s address to him after she hung up. She entertained Material © NôvelDrama.Org.

him because she was invested in his progress with Louisa. It’d be superb if she could get her hands on his leverage.

“Thanks, Mikayla.” he texted.

“No problem,” she replied, “You’re not official with Louisa yet, so it’s better to refrain from calling

me by my first name. Ms. Davidson will do.”

“Sure. Goodnight, Ms. Davidson.”

Bedridden in the hospital, Kylie looked sullen with her bandaged forehead and arms.

“Kylie, this ward looks amazing. Jerome really does fancy you, doesn’t he?” Agatha exclaimed, her

gaze roaming across the room.

Ignoring her, Kylie snapped, “What are you doing here at this hour? I told you not to come looking

for me.”

“Kylie, you should’ve been more careful. Fortunately, the lamp missed you by an inch. If it gets you

in the head, you’ll suffer a major head injury.”

Kylie’s eyebrows drew together. “So, what is it? Why can’t you speak over the phone, and you had

to come all the way here?”

Rubbing her hands together, Agatha had no choice but to spill her

purpose.

“It’s all because of that brat, Jensen! He’s been splurging lately to court Louisa. He’s about to

spend all my money from treating her.”

Kylie glanced over at the gold bracelet resting on Agatha’s wrist. “You haven’t been particularly frugal lately as well, haven’t you?”

Agatha shuffled the bracelet underneath her sleeve and said, “Kylie, I didn’t splurge on your money. This was compensation I acquired from an incident. Someone splashed cement water on

me in the mall toilet.“.

Kylie was aware of the mall incident. Agatha was a cheapskate, and she excelled at offending people. Yet, Kylie couldn’t fathom why someone would take the hassle of locking Agatha in a toilet just to splash cement and water on her, although it wasn’t entirely impossible.

Agatha had had a feud with the mall employees, so it was likely that the staff ganged up on her to

teach her a lesson.

With a stoic expression, Kylie said, “Aunt Agatha, don’t you dare forget who helped Jensen out when he was in trouble and how you get to live a luxurious life now despite coming from the

countryside with no background at all. If you and Jensen want to live in peace, then stop getting yourselves in trouble!”

“Of course!” Agatha replied servilely. “Kylie, you’re our savior. We’re always grateful to you, and we’ll listen to whatever you say.”

Her docile attitude pleased Kylie, dampening her gloominess. “How are things for Jensen?”

*Seems pretty good to me,” Agatha replied in glee. “He’s a handsome and charming young man, after all. He knows his way around women, especially with that sweet mouth of his.”

Kylie despised Jensen. However, she had to admit that it would be a breeze for him to trick women with his looks, stature, and family background. She pointed to her bag, and Agatha scurried over to fetch it for her.

“Here’s 500 thousand dollars. Pass this to Jensen, and make sure he doesn’t expose himself.” With her good hand, Kylie took a card out of her bag and handed it to Agatha.
