Makayla batted her innocent big eyes. "I just want to hear you say I'm your real sister."
Elijah asked, "Why do you want to hear that? Is it really you who wants to hear it?"
He noticed her hand hidden behind her back and quickly guessed what was going on.
Makayla nodded, not fully understanding. "Then I won't tell Ian."
