Baby Surprise Chapter 18

ALICIA

I leaned across Christopher's desk, purposefully holding my elbows in, pushing my breasts together. I had even undone two extra buttons.

50 far agreeing to date him had made for a very entertaining week.

I shifted and cleared my throat. I wanted him to look up at me, and down my shirt, but all of his attention was on the presentation. I behaved properly while at work, but I figured it was after six, so everything was fair now. The workday was over. If I was going to have to stay late and help put together this presentation, then I wanted to have a little bit of fun. “Alicia, I'm trying to focus.”

He didn't even glance at me.

“You don't really need me here right now,” I pointed out.

He didn't. He was reviewing the presentation I had put together from his notes. At this point, all he needed to do was mark up a copy for me to make adjustments. It's how we did it before I agreed to go out with him. Not that we had actually had a date after we met for Sushi. There hadn't really been much time.

But something had changed between us. I don't know exactly what it was but suddenly we were both smiling and laughing more. His tone during the day was less strained and more playful. It was nice to simply be around him, and know that whatever it was between us, we didn't need to ignore it and pretend it had never happened.

We were getting a second chance to actually get to know each other. So far, I really liked him. And after almost an entire week, I really wanted to kiss him again.

“We have a lot to get done. Print-Tech is in less than two weeks." He began ticking off all the things that needed to be completed and confirmed before the show.

Print-Tech was one of the leading print industry trade shows in the country. It's where all the new innovations were introduced to the industry. There were keynotes, panel discussions, demonstrations, classes, and of course, the trade show floor. It was a playground for professionals in the print industry. In my years in the industry working for Jordan Press, I never had a chance to go.

I had been to local trade shows. More than a few were held in Atlanta, but those had all been small in comparison to Print- Tech.

I watched Christopher's long tapering fingers as he worked through his list. “I've got the presentation. I'm sitting in on the Innovations in Tech panel, the booth is being completely rebuilt for an improved user experience. I need to do a complete review of the website, so that it can launch simultaneously. Sales and orders for the next two financial years are all lynch pinned on the introduction of our 3D plate printing. If.”

He looked up. Well, up enough. His gaze never made it past my cleavage.

He stopped with his mouth hanging open.

I'smiled, finally, I had his attention.

“Alicia, what are you doing?”

I didn’t quite giggle at him. “I've been trying to get your attention.”

Ileaned in closer.

He sighed and pulled his glasses off. “You have it

“Good.” I'slid around to his side of the desk and perched next to his computer. “It's been a week, and other than some banter, I was beginning to wonder if I had hallucinated last Friday night"

“Friday?” He sat back, letting his hand rest on my knee.

I nodded. “Uh-huh. You remember Friday, we went out for sushi.”

“And you said you wanted to take it slow.” His fingers played with the hem of my skirt, flipping it back and forth. The motion tickled my knee where it grazed my skin.

“slow, not glacial.”

“We've been busy getting everything prepped for Print-Tech. It's crunch time. You know that. I didn't have you pegged as the needy type.”

I raised my eyebrows. I couldn't do that sexy, dangerous one eyebrow Lift, but if I could, this would be when I would have used it. He said pegged. Did he even know?

“I"— I dragged my finger down the front of my open blouse— “would have to be the one to do the pegging!’

Christopher closed his eyes and groaned.

Hal He hadn't realized what he had said

His fingers bit into my thighs and he pulled me down onto his lap.

“Is that the kind of mood you're in?”

He started dragging his fingers over the opening of my blouse, bushing my hand out of the way. This was better. I had spent the entire week wanting, needing, something more than an extra smile or wink.

This fit my mental vision of what dating the boss should look like.

“Are you here to help, or hinder?”

I gasped, and felt breathless, as his fingers began skimming my breasts as he continued to toy with my blouse.

“I'm always helpful” It was hard to talk. Not that I wanted to be talking.

I reached up and caressed the skin around his eyes. My baby’s eyes. They were very expressive, and on the man in front of me, they were disarming. It felt like he could see into the very heart of me.

I closed my eyes and leaned forward. It was time for him to kiss me again.

When our lips met, he growled deep in his chest. He stopped playing with the opening of my blouse and grabbed my b****t into his hand. His lips demanded my cooperation and focus. His other hand grabbed my hip and kneaded in a steady pulsin action. This content © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

I melted into him. Pressing my breast into his hand, and arching my back, forcing my hip back into his other hand. I hadn't had a man’s hands on me since the last time Christopher touched me. I had missed this, missed him.

I loosened his tie and pulled it from his neck before running my hands over his chest. As my hands roamed and I reacquainted myself with the shape of his shoulders, he opened the front of my blouse, exposing my lace-edged bra to his gaze.

“Alicia, you do not disappoint” I bit my lip as he lowered his head to the exposed tops of my breasts. I held his head to me and shifted as his hand slid up my thigh. His finger bit and grabbed as he moved up until he could grab a handful of my a*s. I didn't really think about it as his fingers scraped downward and he pulled my panties off. I was just glad that he had the forethought to get rid of those pesky things the next time his hands were caressing my legs.

There was nothing stopping him, not even me when his finger stroked the seam of my p***y. Maybe this was a bit more than had anticipated, but I wasn't about to slow down. Christopher was touching me, and his touch was the most amazing thing I had ever experienced.

He groaned against my skin as I rubbed my hand over the bulge in his pants. I wasn't the only one who was turned on to the point of not thinking. It would only take a flick of my hand to unfasten his belt and open his pants.

He stroked me again, teasing me. I was wet, it wouldn't take much for him to curl that finger and dip it into me. I rolled my hips against his hand.

“Hayes, have you seen—"

I rocketed out of Christopher's lap. I pressed my skirt down and managed to position myself at his shoulder, leaning over his desk chair by the time Martin from the development group pushed into the office.

I was hidden enough there was no way he could have seen that my blouse was most of the way unbuttoned. I fastened a few strategic buttons, so I didn't flash him.

All Christopher needed to do was sit up straight and put his glasses on. Any reaction he was having to me was hidden by the desk.

“Seen what? Don't tell me there are problems. We don’t have time for problems.”

“It's only a problem if you think our branding is important”

“What is that supposed to mean?”

“You need to see this; the colors are all wrong.”

I'stood back and crossed my arms. I was holding myself together. If Martin hadn't made so much noise and basically announced his arrival, we would have been caught in a very compromising situation. Well, I definitely would have been. Where had my panties gone?

I'saw a flash of red in Christopher's hand. He had them. How was he going to give them back?

He pushed to his feet. I guess his physical state had calmed down. I was still vibrating.

He put his hand, the one with my underwear, into his pocket. I guess I wasn't getting them back any time soon.

He let out a heavy sigh. “Alicia, why don't you head home for the evening? We can finish this up later”

“Oh, shit, I didn't mean to interrupt,” Martin said, finally realizing that I was standing there.

“We were working, I started. Yeah, dummy, of course, we were working.

“Oh, my big presentation, need to get the timing on those transitions just right. I think we should sleep on it and look at it with fresh eyes on Monday." He winked at me, and catching his hidden meaning, everything tingled.

Maybe I wouldn't complain that he was keeping my undies.

As they headed off to see what was wrong with the product, we were unveiling at the trade show, I headed home. Dating the boss was going to be a bit more of a challenge than I had realized.
