Chapter 22 I CAN’T WAIT TO PUNISH YOU
The party was in full swing until 8 pm when mom and Balthas got ready for their honeymoon. Aziz and I were left in charge of the guest, making sure that they all leave in good shape. From the corner of my eyes, I could see the Aziz family standing off to one side, each one holding their group as they continue to have fun.
I couldn’t wait for them to leave tomorrow… The original plan was for them to leave two days after the couples had gone for their honeymoon but due to the stunt Cora and her mother pulled during dinner a few days back.
Aziz had a talk with his dad, demanding that they should leave as fast as they can. I wanted them out of my hair anyway so I supported him and told Balthas that I am too wary of having too many people around me.
I shook my head as I recalled everything that happened yesterday.

When Balthas had called his family together and informed them that they are to return to their houses the day after the wedding.
Tania had put up a fight, demanding to know why her brother was chasing them out of his house but Reina had put her in her place, reminding her that Balthas was the oldest in the family, so his decision shouldn’t be questioned.
Things become heated immediately and it ended up in utter chaos with Tania pointing fingers at my mom for destroying her family by getting married to her brother.
It was the first time I had seen Aziz angry but I loved his dominance and the way he stood up for my mother as if she was his mother. He stood up from his seat when Tania called mom a bïtch, with Cora hurling insults at my mom, and grabbed Cora by the throat, his hand squeezing so hard.
“Aziz,” she groaned, staring up at him in pain.
“The next time you open that filthy mouth of yours to talk to my stepmother without bridling your tongue… I swear on my mother’s name, I’ll cut it off.” I could recall the way Cora’s eyes widened, her nose flared and she looked down at her feet in shame.
The man she pined for disgracing her in front of the whole family. He thrust her away from him and looked at Tania.
“I know you are not really angry at her because you wouldn’t get to see more of your brother,” he jabbed his finger toward mom. “You are furious because you will not get to execute your plan of getting your adopted daughter hooked up with me.” Tania gasped and so did everyone seated around the table.
“How dare you?” She yelled.
“If you as much as open your mouth to call her a bitch or insult her until you leave this house, you will see a side of me that you don’t like.”
‘I would like to see that side of you’ the words rolled around my head but I dare not voice them out for fear of exposing our little secret to the entire family.
Cora glared at me and I rolled my eyes at her. ‘Desperate Bïtch’ I mouthed to her and she flared up, coming for me.
I averted my eyes and acted like I didn’t know she was so close to me. I let her grab my hair in her hand and pull at it. From the corner of my eyes, I could see Aziz’s face dimmed at the way she keeps yanking my hair as if she wants to pull it out of its root. He grabbed her from behind and threw her off me, his face darkened as he looked me over.
“Are you alright?” I positively shook my head and he placed his hand on the small of my back.
A loud bang rang through the room and everyone turned around to look into Balthas livid face. I guess he was just like his son, they rarely get angry, but when they do, you would have no choice but to cower away from them.
He looked at Tania and her daughter and with a stern gaze, he said. “Pack your bags Tania and that of your daughter and leave my house this instant. I don’t want to see you anywhere near this whole mansion.”
“What!? Tania shot forward, her mouth trembling as she heard her brother’s proclamation.
“You are chasing your sister and her daughter away from your house because of this nuisance?” Before Aziz could get to her, Balthas already had his hand pinned around her throat, hoisting her up and pushing her against the wall.
“You will not address the woman I want to marry and plan to spend the rest of my life with as a bïtch and nuisance ever again, you understand?” He yelled into her face and she dropped her gaze.
“Let this be the last time you will ever set your feet into my house, and if anything should happen to Lexi and Daphne,” he paused. “Even though you have no hands in it, I will have you and your bastard arrested and tortured.” He dropped her on the floor while every one of us look on, Tania got up with the help of her daughter, she looked at all the faces staring at her in without an ounce of care.
Her face glistened with unshed tears and she scrambled up the stairs. Once they packed their bags and left the house, the conversation returned to normal as if they hadn’t created a commotion just now.
“I can’t wait for your wedding Daphne,” Reina gushed. “I am sure Balthas would have gotten the best gown for you.” Mom grabbed Reina’s hand and pull her into a hug.Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.
“Thank you for accepting me into the family.” Reina pats her back slowly, pulling her even closer.
“Tania is a fôol for ruining such a beautiful relationship before it even started, don’t let her words pull you down dear,” she pull away and smiled down at mom.
“Let’s go see your wedding gown, I bet it would be beautiful,” Reina pulled mom into her room, leaving the rest of us to talk like normal human beings.
Balthas excused himself and went to call his younger brother(Lamar’s father) and ask him when he would arrive for the wedding. Lamar moved over to my side and grabbed my hand, squeezing it gently.
“My love, it’s been so long since you speak to me, are we fighting?” He asked. From the corner of my eyes, I could see Aziz’s fist tightened and I knew Lamar was going to lose his front teeth so I pulled away from him.
“Lamar,” I called, and drop my voice so he would be the only one to hear me. “Aziz and I have had our first s£x already,” I told him and he smirked.
“I know, your skin is glowing,” he said. “I just want to get a reaction from your boyfriend.” ^^^^^^^^^
I shook my head again when I remembered how Aziz had matched over to us and pulled me away from him before I could tell Lamar to stop his act. I took my eyes back to where they all stood. Cora and her mother stood to one side, while Lamar’s family stood to another side.
Aziz wrapped his hand around my waist from behind.
“Should we go tell the guest that the party had come to an end?” He said.
I knew he was trying to get me alone in his room but I also had a lot of plans for him, so I nod my head and followed him to the stage. I can’t wait to punish him.
