The two names of the contestants, Giselle and Harvey, are indeed eye-catching. Not only because their faces are already familiar with the world of modeling and many brands that work with them, but they are also quite interesting to keep an eye on. Some Ford officials often meet them, either during coffee breaks, or most blatantly after dinner.
“Looks like I won the bet,” Giselle said as she picked at her steak. Chewing with eyes that rarely moved from Kristen’s figure who seemed to be laughing merrily. with her group that felt sickening to Giselle. But she had to hold back the expression of wanting to vomit seeing it all, ka?
“Says who?” Harvey chuckled. The menu he chose for dinner this time was not as heavy as Giselle’s. Just half a portion of spaghetti and lean grilled chicken. Next to Giselle’s steak plate, there was still a generous amount of cheese-studded baked macaroni.
Harvey sometimes wonders about Giselle’s stomach and metabolism; she’s a chocoholic, she eats a lot, but there’s not a speck of fat on her slender frame. But that was also true for Harvey. To make matters worse, he’s a big fan of fizzy drinks, although he limits them severely because they’re not good for his health.
“Just look,” Giselle pointed with the tip of her chin. “He’s more familiar with Ford’s higher-ups. And you?” She coughed but her eyes blinked with excitement. “Prepare to lose.”
“As long as it hasn’t been announced on the final night, the chances of me winning the bet are still high, Giselle. Don’t get ahead of yourself.”
Which Giselle cares about.
This is already her fourth day of quarantine. There are many new things that make him enthusiastic. His knowledge is increasing rapidly and spurs him to find out about the world he is in now. especially the motivation to become a much better and useful person for most people. including people who need work.
I don’t know, this spurred Giselle to think about what she could do in the future that would be more useful and fun to do. It’s impossible for her to always be at the top of fame. There will be new faces that continue to emerge even though their flying hours are still standard, but if honed with hard work like Giselle did, nothing will be impossible.
She believes that every effort will not betray the result. The proof is that she did not expect to be in the crowd of people who were actually hypocrites in Giselle’s eyes-some. There are also those who do make the quarantine time to forge themselves much better. So out of quarantine later, although not carrying a trophy, there are impressive things happening here.
“You’re right.” Giselle finished her meal. “but I can’t wait to introduce you to the person I want.”
“Your girlfriend?” asked Harvey, who was still chewing although not too eagerly. Perhaps the effect of the monthly guest who visited at an inopportune time, made his mood quite disturbed.
“I wish I could think of it that way.” Giselle laughed sadly. “Come on, speed up your eating. You look like a mess.”
Harvey blinked in disbelief. He had not complained about anything and was as relaxed as ever despite the pain in his stomach. His eyes were no longer looking at the girls they were betting on, but at Giselle with an unreadable look. But then, he smiled slightly.
“You’re stepping aside from the company here to keep me company, Giselle?” asked Harvey before they moved away from the table where most of the dinner menu had already been devoured.
“What did I do that for?” Giselle grinned faintly. “I don’t do well with people who have the intention of getting to know me. I also don’t like being asked to agree with them when it comes to hating something. And I have my own life choices in friendships. Satisfied with what I said?”
Harvey laughed, but then winced. He quickly held his hand over his painful stomach and it felt like he was bleeding quite a lot.
“Come on, let’s go to the room. I think this afternoon’s delivery was coffee.”
Harvey’s brow furrowed. “Are you sure? Not chocolate you can warm up?”
Giselle shook her head immediately. “I asked for a special coffee for you,” Giselle whispered cheerfully. She embraced Harvey, who immediately refused. Although their steps rushed out of the dining room, there were still disagreements. Like now, where Giselle thinks Harvey is annoying.
However, after four days of quarantine, their friendship is getting closer. In fact, many other contestants wanted to join their friendship because it looked exciting. Even so, Giselle and Harvey still maintain a safe distance. Not too familiar and not too eager to interfere in their personal affairs. In fact, those who initially approached because they had certain intentions were alienated as if they were just invisible dust in the gathering between the contestants.
“Have a good rest everyone,” Giselle greeted and waved before actually exiting the dining room. Where there were several models that she knew quite well and were friendly. Even helping her if there was something difficult to do.
“See you tomorrow, Giselle, Harvey,” they greeted Giselle in unison. And because of this too, Harvey smiled widely. also waved because he felt that it was not bad to be friends with them. not all of them had to be boring in their behavior. Although there were some who were annoying during the quarantine activities.
“But I’m curious about the person who often sends you packages. Your boyfriend?”
Giselle chuckled in annoyance. “I told you never to ask me silly things like that.”
Harvey shook his head in surprise. “It’s a waste for that guy to send you a gift with no ties to you. Uh, or is it your fan?”
Giselle waved it off immediately. “Do you want coffee or not? We have a drama to finish because there’s a lot to do tomorrow. Color training makes me dizzy but it’s fun.”
“You’re really enjoying things here, aren’t you?” Harvey stepped into the elevator that had already opened.
“I see.” Giselle smiled broadly. “Doesn’t that apply to you?”
Harvey let out a long sigh. “This is the second time I’ve been to an event like this. to me, the rundown is the same. not much different. I’m sick of it actually.”
As for what Harvey had just said, Giselle had no idea. She was stunned to hear what he had just said.
“My agency’s target is at least third place or favorite choice.” Harvey grinned slightly. The sound of the elevator signaled that their destination floor had arrived. Waiting for the elevator doors to open, he steps in front of Giselle. “I don’t know why I’m tired tonight, Giselle. I guess having coffee can wait until tomorrow?”
“You think the coffee that came to me hasn’t been brewed?” Giselle scowled in displeasure. Once again, she embraced Harvey, not caring if she was brushed off and lectured again. Maybe it was because many people had seen them earlier, maybe it was because Harvey did not like this kind of closeness, but for what Giselle was doing now, she did not get any rejection at all.

“We’ll spend the night in your room. You just wait, I’ll see you later. You don’t mind, do you? Don’t make excuses for being tired, Harvey. You’re not very good at masking your inner turmoil.”
Harvey chuckled. “I just found out, what did the fat on your body turn into?”
“What?” asked Giselle with a suspicious look.
“Your bones are getting heavier and heavier. I think everything is absorbed into your bones, which are so heavy that they fall on my shoulder.”
“You!” screeched Giselle in disgust.
“But it’s the truth, Giselle.”
“There is no such thing.”
“There is. The evidence is that your hand bones are very heavy.”
Giselle really wanted to ruffle Harvey’s hair. But since Harvey’s smile is back and he’s starting to shake off the sadness of the elevator conversation, at least what Giselle did can ease the burden on Harvey’s heart.
Just before Giselle walked into her room, ready to take the snacks sent by the same person, as well as the coffee she felt good enjoying while watching the drama, she said, “My ears are still functioning properly to hear about the agency’s target for you. Care to share?”
