BILLIONAIRE’S SECRETARY

CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

“Since you have signed the contract, you are to be there by 7 p. m. prompt and ensure that you are not late, otherwise, there would be consequences for your action,” Mr. Gavriel added.

This man is something.

I have not yet gotten to his house, and he is already ordering me.

Then, if I got to his house, he would kill me.

Oh God, save me from the hands of Mr. Gavriel Seamus.

Fuck.

“Okay, sir, I will be there on time, but I hope you treat me well!” I replied with a dark squint.

I did not know when I made that statement.

“Oh my God, I hope he does not think I am disrespectful,” I said to myself.

“Do not expect that from me,” Mr. Gavriel replied with a harsh voice.

I had this feeling and I knew it: I was done for.

Mr. Gavriel is a wicked bastard.

The worst thing was that he hadn’t started yet, and I was already complaining.

“You can leave now, I am done with you here, I am releasing you to start making your preparations to avoid being late, have a nice day,” Mr. Gavriel said.

This was so harsh, and he does not know how to talk to people.

I was still sitting down as I was trying to recall what he had said.

“I am certain that you can see yourself to the door,” I stood up, trembling, as I slowly walked out of Mr. Gavriel’s office.

I walked out of Mr. Gavriel’s office so sluggishly that I could not believe that I was going to live with that man starting from today’s evening.

I just started to develop this feeling of hatred inside of me, and it just keeps on growing every single second, minute, and hour as long as I remember that I am his submissive and he is my dominant. I believe he hates me as much as I hate him, but I never did that on purpose, I never intended to throw up on him, and now he is saying I am indebted to him for eternity.

I was so angry as hell.

I was so deep in my thoughts that I did not realize when tears started flowing out of my eyes.

I picked up my phone and dialed Nicole’s number, after some rings, she picked up.

“Hi Tina, how are you?”

“I am so sorry about yesterday, I did not mean to leave like that. I am sorry,” Nicole apologized about yesterday.

“I am not fine, Nicole, and I am not angry at you,” I said as the tears kept on pouring down.

“Tina, are you okay? You are crying, and what do you mean by you are not fine?” Nicole asked with a concerned voice, and of course, she was concerned about my welfare.

“I cannot talk right now, please, I need you at my house in an hour or so, this might be the last time you would ever set your eyes on your precious best friend,” I said as my palms started sweating, and then I hung up immediately.

“Hey, Christina are you okay? Did something happen to you? Did you get the job? Why are you crying?” a familiar voice asked, and then I turned to know who it was, and I said, ” Mr. Aaron. I quickly used my hands to wipe the tears from my eyes as he came closer.

I just stood there like a statue, and I did not answer him.

“Are you okay?”

“Why are you crying?” Mr. Aaron asked again.

“Yes, I am fine, and nothing happened to me,” I answered, and I turned immediately to leave.

“Christina, I know that something is wrong and you are lying to me. Did Mr. Gavriel give you the job?” Mr. Aaron asked

“I got the job, but…” I was still answering when Mr. Aaron interrupted me.

“You know what, follow me, let’s not just stand here discussing,” Mr. Aaron said as he turned around and started going.

He did not even wait to hear my response, and because of that, I had no other option but to follow him.Material © NôvelDrama.Org.

When we got to his office, he offered me a chair.

“Mr. Aaron, I am so sorry, but I have to leave right now.” I bluntly refused to sit as I checked my wristwatch and saw that it was already heading to noon.

“Christina, I understand, but can you briefly explain what happened? Something must have happened to change your facial expression, I cannot bring myself to believe that someone was offered a job in a company like this and the person is going back home in tears,” Mr. Aaron explained as he looked at me briefly as he clasped his hands together.

“I might help if I can,” Mr. Aaron added, and I had no option but to briefly explain to him what happened.

“Okay, but I will be very fast,” I said, and he nodded his head.

“Something terrible but not too terrible happened yesterday night at a bar, and it happened between me and Mr. Gavriel.” I started explaining how it happened last night.

How I went to the bar with my best friend and got so wasted because I could not get a job

How I saw the interview message that same night at the bar when I was so drunk, and I decided to leave the bar but bumped into Mr. Gavriel and suddenly threw up on him.

“Oh my goodness, that is so gross,” Mr. Aaron said as he looked at me, and I looked at him with a facial expression that said I thought you wanted me to explain.

“I am sorry for saying that, but that is so terrible. Let me explain why,” Mr. Aaron added.

“Something like that happened months ago, but it was between Mr. Gavriel and his soon-to-be-married wife she did the same thing you did, and guess what happened? Mr. Gavriel called off the marriage,” Mr. Aaron said.

“What?? He called off marriage because his soon-to-be wife threw up on him. I knew it-that man is the devil that God cast out of heaven, and now how am I going to cope with living with him?” I said in bewilderment, and I did not know when those words left my lips.
